This collaboration positions Kona Bay India as the first genetic company in India to partner with ICAR-CIBA for performance evaluation trials of our shrimp genetic lines. This is a recognition of our commitment to scientific excellence and sustainable aquaculture.
Why this matters
This MoU is more than a strategic partnership. It is a validation that genetics-driven shrimp culture, when integrated with best management practices, can redefine performance, efficiency, and sustainability in Indian aquaculture.
The outcomes of this collaboration will:
- Inspire confidence within our team and among our partners
- Strengthen the shrimp value chain
- Provide clear direction for future industry growth
A Vision for the Future
At Kona Bay, we believe that science, innovation, and collaboration are the keys to unlocking new potential in shrimp farming. This achievement is not only a win for us, it’s a moment for the entire shrimp community to celebrate and move forward together.
We look forward to sharing the results of these trials and continuing to contribute to the evolution of aquaculture in India.
